Michael J. Baltes is Post & Schell, P.C.'s Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, where he is responsible for developing, integrating, and overseeing the Firm's marketing, business development, and communications functions.
Mr. Baltes collaborates closely with the Firm’s President & Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, department and practice group chairs, as well as senior management and other Firm stakeholders to assess, create, manage, coordinate and execute all marketing and communications strategies, and implement tactical plans that are aligned with the needs and expectations of the Firm and its current and future business partners.
Before joining Post & Schell in 2012, Mr. Baltes worked for more than two decades in marketing and communications roles both inside the legal industry and in higher education. Immediately prior to joining Post & Schell in 2012, he served as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at Morgan Lewis & Bockius, where he led that firm's business development, marketing, and communications efforts across 22 offices worldwide. Before joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Baltes held various positions over a nearly 18-year span at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, including serving as the School's Director of Communications and Marketing.
