Paralegal Positions
Paralegal - Professional Liability - Philadelphia Office - 5+ years' experience
We have an immediate opening for a Paralegal in the Firm's Professional Liability Department in our Philadelphia Office. Must have 5+ years of insurance defense experience.
The paralegal will assist a variety of attorneys during the entire litigation process, subject to the supervision of the attorney responsible for the matter. This includes supporting all facets of discovery, trial preparation, expert witness research, medical record procurement, preparation of medical record summaries and chronologies, court filings, document management and production, and exhibit preparation.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree (ABA approved paralegal certificate a plus), trial experience, and exceptional communication and organizational skills. Other required skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, PDF, and Lexis Advanced.
- Knowledge of the PA Rules of Civil Procedure and court systems is a must, with a strong preference for knowledge of the state and federal courts in Pennsylvania.
- Ability to multitask.
- Must have prior billing experience.
