In the September 15 article, "More Volkswagen Criminal Charges Could Be on the Way," in Bloomberg BNA's Daily Environmental Report, White Collar Associate Carolyn H. Kendall discussed what the potential next steps may be in the Volkswagen diesel emissions scandal.
Ms. Kendall notes, "that many observers view the Volkswagen emissions scandal as the first potential case that could be affected by the Yates memo." She goes on to explain that, "it is still too early to tell what the impact of the Yates memo will be on the Volkswagen investigation" but that, "it’s possible that we’ll see people in supervisory roles [charged].”
