Employment Chair Sid Steinberg Examines Role of the Court in a Discrimination Case for The Legal Intelligencer

In his August 16 column for The Legal Intelligencer, Employment & Employee Relations Chair Sidney R. Steinberg examines the employment discrimination case, Andersen v. Mack Trucks.

Mr. Steinberg notes that, "there are few more settled tenets in employment discrimination law than that the court does not sit as a “super-personnel department that re-examines the employer’s business decisions.” In analyzing the court's decision in Andersen, explains, "the court repeatedly invoked this principle in granting summary judgment to the employer."
