Employment Principal Sid Steinberg Authors "Inconsistent Reasons for Termination Defeat Summary Judgment" for The Legal Intelligencer

In an article for The Legal Intelligencer, Employment & Employee Relations Principal Sidney R. Steinberg examines a recent decision where summary judgment was denied largely due to inconsistencies in a employer's explanation of a termination decision.

Discussing the specifics of the case, Mr. Steinberg notes:

"The message of the case is 'communication.'  Communication would not have compromised the internal review, but would have allowed a decision to be made as to whether the basis for termination was well-founded and legitimate."
