Labor Principal William Flannery Offers a Look at the Law Behind the SRC's Cancellation of the Teachers' Contract in the Oct. 9 Philadelphia Inquirer

On October 9, 2014, Labor Principal William J. Flannery offered a legal perspective to the Philadelphia Inquirer on the School Reform Commission's (SRC) cancelling of its contract on October 6 with the Philadelphia Teachers Union, related to shared health care costs.

Mr. Flannery notes that the SRC's "approach is interesting and appropriate," and explains that, "he expects that the teachers union, when it responds to the complaint, will ask for an injunction barring the SRC from imposing changes to the health plan until the matter is hashed out in court."
