Michael Gross Speaks at Villanova Law Symposium Regarding Natural Gas Pipeline Construction in Pennsylvania on April 15

On Friday, April 15, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., Environmental Principal Michael C. Gross, a member of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf's Pennsylvania Infrastructure Task Force (the Task Force), joined with regional and national experts, including Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Secretary John Quigley, at the 2016 Villanova Environmental Law Symposium, "Pennsylvania Pipelines: Assessing the Infrastructure Task Force Report." The Symposium took place in the Laurence E. Hirsch ’71 Classroom at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and is open to the public.

In May 2015 Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf established the Task Force to address the Commonwealth’s pipeline system. The Task Force produced its report in February 2016, and the Symposium discussed the future of Pennsylvania’s pipeline infrastructure and the broader issues relating to the Task Force report. In addition to Secretary Quigley, other participants included Marie Therese Dominguez, Administrator of the U.S. Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (“PHMSA”) and other Task Force members.

Mr. Gross is a Principal in Post & Schell’s Environmental and Marcellus Shale Practice Groups with sixteen years of experience representing clients in all aspects of environmental regulatory, transactional and enforcement matters.
