Sidney Steinberg Presents on ADA Issues at DRI's Employment and Labor Law Seminar on April 27
Employment Chair Sidney R. Steinberg presented "Cutting-Edge Americans with Disabilities Act Issues," on April 27 at DRI's 39th annual Employment and Labor Law Seminar in Austin, TX. The TED Talk-style conversation included three other labor and employment attorneys, and focused on Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) hot topics, including:
- Establishing that the Plaintiff isn’t disabled even under the lenient ADAAA standards;
- Addressing complicated reasonable accommodation issues in the workplace;
- Determining when an accommodation in a dangerous environment poses a direct threat to safety or health; and
- Crafting an ADA-compliant wellness program.
