Bio
Emily L. Bock is an Associate in the Firm's Professional Liability Department and Medical Malpractice Defense Practice Group. She represents a variety of health care providers, including hospitals, health systems, physicians, physician assistants, and nurses, in matters involving alleged medical malpractice. These cases involve complex fact patterns, catastrophic injuries, and substantial financial exposure.
Ms. Bock served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Philip E. Haines of the Superior Court of New Jersey's Criminal Division. Her experience also includes serving as an Assistant Defender for the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where she represented clients in preliminary hearings, misdemeanor, felony bench trials, and juvenile delinquency matters.
In her final year of law school, Ms. Bock was recognized as a Law Student of the Year by National Jurist Magazine in the magazine's inaugural feature. Ms. Bock was also a finalist for the PSJD Pro Bono Publico Award in 2015 and received one of two merit distinctions awarded nationwide.
