Andrea Kirshenbaum and David Renner Examine New EEO-1 Pay Data Reporting Requirements for The Legal Intelligencer

In the July 29, 2019 Legal Intelligencer article, "New EEO-1 Pay Data Reporting Requirements: What Employers Need to Know," Andrea M. Kirshenbaum and David E. Renner examined the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's (EEOC) new pay data reporting requirements following a U.S. district court ruling. The new requirements require covered employers to submit employees’ W-2 pay and hours worked data (which the EEOC has referred to as a Component 2 EEO-1) for years 2017 and 2018 by Sept. 30.

The authors note:

"While September may feel like a world away during the dog days of summer, Sept. 30 will be here before employers know it. Employers that are required to submit Component 2 data should be actively working toward meeting this impending deadline."
