Marni S. Berger is a Principal in the Firm's Insurance Law Department. In this capacity, she represents insurers in all facets of complex commercial litigation and coverage disputes involving the interpretation and meaning of critical language under contractual liability agreements, as well as commercial general liability, motor vehicle, disability, employers’ liability, disability/health, and other policies of insurance.
Ms. Berger has achieved case dismissals through summary judgment and successfully arbitrated and mediated cases leading to favorable results for her clients.
In addition to representing clients in all phases of litigation, Ms. Berger frequently consults clients as to their contractual defense and indemnity obligations as well as their potential obligations owed to policyholders and others seeking coverage under policies of insurance issued by her clients.
Ms. Berger was selected for inclusion in the 2014 - 2020 editions of "Pennsylvania Super Lawyer - Rising Stars," a listing of the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in the Commonwealth who are 40 or younger or have been practicing for less than 10 years. Ms. Berger earned her J.D. from Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2010 where she interned for the Honorable Richard B. Klein (Ret) of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. She earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Political Communication from the George Washington University in 2006.
